Light refreshments served after the service - all welcome
LENDING LIBRARY
The first Sunday of the month has the LENDING LIBRARY. These books are split into four categories: adult and junior; religious and secular. If you have books to lend others in our community, please pass them to Judy Nicholas on any Sunday. Please mark them clearly with Your name so that they can be returned to their rightful owner one day. Each person can borrow a maximum of two books per month - you are obliged to look after these books as they do belong to someone else. Judy will note your name, the book(s) borrowed and the date on which they were taken. Books can be kept a maximum of two months - other people may be waiting for that particular one.
BRING AND SHARE LUNCH
This is a Sunday lunch when we all bring food and share it. As
far as quantities are concerned, people should bring enough to feed themselves
plus some. The idea is to provide plenty for all, including any visitors and
newcomers.
We feel that a church lunch is an important part of our fellowship. Of course,
it's not the food that matters, what really counts is spending time together - enjoying one
another's company, chatting with good friends and making new ones. But it's no bad thing that the food's good too!
Everyone is welcome. There is no charge. Watch the members' table for the next one.
